I am running CU5 on all Lync phones. When I set up someone as a delegate, or team-call, in my Lync client and then configure Simultaneous Ring to that delegate/team-call group, the phone displays "Call Forwarding is On" instead of "Simultaneous Ring is On". If I change it to simultaneously ring my mobile phone, the Lync phone displays the information properly. I believe this is a bug and it causes confusion because the phone says forwarding is enabled when it technically isn't.
Hi,Michael,
As I know,Lync desktop client and Lync mobile client share the same Lync user configuration database,if you change some setting on Lync client and it will be updated to the user database in BackEnd database server and whenever you sign in Lync, regardless of desktop client or Mobile client it will read the same configure data from user database. That's why Lync supports MPOP(Multiple Points of presence) and it's by design.
So when you setup delegate call or team call on Lync desktop client, you should turn on "Call Forwarding" and this also reflect to Lync mobile,so Lync mobile will also show "Call forwarding is on".
Hope this make sense.

Hi,Michael,
Sorry for misunderstanding,I got your issue more clearly now.
However I have no device to test it, I will report it to Microsoft and involve some one in this issue.

I tested this in lab and it is reproducible. I will try to file a bug for this issue.

This means is working only the call forwarding. But in case of Aastra phone, how would you enable the permanent call forwarding to the delegate team or to team call members? ( eg: a manager that would like to forward his calls to his delegates)
